Instructions to Waste Generators

The GCUA establishes a Rate Schedule and pricing for waste classifications on an annual basis with rates which become effective on December 1.

Waste generators wishing to have their waste hauled to and disposed of at GCUA's septage handling facility must submit the following to GCUA:

1. Appendix H, "Hauled Waste Profile Form" , signed by a representative of the generator. Forms signed by a hauler or consultant for the generator are not acceptable.

2. A sample of the waste stream being profiled. The GCUA requires a minimum of one liter (approximately one quart) of sample in a new sample bottle.

NOTE: In order to expedite the review process, it is strongly recommended that the completed Appendix H and waste stream sample be submitted to the GCUA at the same time.

The GCUA reserves the right to reassess pricing due to the nature and strength of the waste stream.
